The compensation of time delay and packet disordering is implemented by a buffer in the actuator node and a state predictor in the controller node. By defining a novel deadline when determining which control input shouldbe used, an augmented state equation is presented, and H∞ controller design is also presented in terms of the feasible solutions of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The results are also extended to the observer-based H∞ controller design. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed compensation method.
