Generic capabilities are essential to the success of new graduates entering the workforce and for their ongoing career development. The principal goals of the research project are to identify the key generic capabilities relevant to the library and information professional, and to integrate these into the educational program through curriculum design and assessment techniques within the Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
