Evaluation in curriculum development for information literacy : an Australian example using a Canadian questionnaire

Identified by many higher education institutions as a graduate attribute, information literacy is recognised as an enabler of lifelong learning. An information skills questionnaire has been useful in establishing an understanding of students’ knowledge and abilities, and in guiding the development of relevant information literacy programs and their placement within the health sciences curriculum at an Australian university.
