Workforce analytics is a human resources management tool that represents the application of social science research methods to work-related data, allowing company leaders to optimise human resources planning and utilisation. Despite the potential of workforce analytics to enhance management of remote workers, the current literature on workforce analytics tends to focus on the benefits of workforce analytics in the traditional work environment, paying limited attention to the remote work environment. This highlights the need to have more research on the application of workforce analytics in remote working contexts. This paper focused on the literature review on the implementation of workforce analytics to address remote work challenges.
