conference contribution
posted on 2019-11-04, 00:00 authored by Leonie Cassidy, Anja PabelAnja Pabel
Taking a cultural perspective, this study aims to examine the devices used by individuals to gain travel related information about an upcoming holiday. Using an online questionnaire which was distributed in Australia, Canada, India and Malaysia, the findings indicate significant differences in device use between the various cultures when searching for travel related information. The study also found significant differences in safety perceptions and booking behaviours when comparing the four cultures.
