SUMMARY: This paper studies the establishment of a small, remote, regional campus library at the Gladstone Campus of Central Queensland University, focusing on the development of library services for undergraduate, and more recently postgraduate, engineering students. It considers some of the problems encountered, solutions explored, and possible future directions for the Library. The development of the collection, the impact of changes in the curriculum, electronic delivery of resources and reader education issues are discussed.
