Defining “sustainable engineering” : a comparative analysis of published sustainability principles and existing courses

This paper addresses a portion of the first of the three research approaches (the literature review); in particular, it aims to use content analysis to explore explicit and implicit published statements about the meaning of sustainable engineering and the topics and concepts included under the umbrella of sustainable engineering.
