This paper is concerned with an experimental investigation on the pressure distribution over ridges of parabolic and rectangular shapes at different Reynolds number. Observed pressure distribution on the ridges is compared with the results of typical pressure distribution over circular cylinder and aerofoil. The present investigation shows that the typical potential flow equations are not complete enough to predict the distance of pressure dissipation in the downstream direction of the flow.
