This paper presents the pedagogical model and its benefits for post-graduate project management education throughout Australia by CQUniversity Australia. In the application of the model cases are used across a number of domains of project management consisting of ICT, government / human services, engineering and construction, and financial and business services. The model embeds a case driven student learning approach, which aims to develop student competencies around PRINCE2 and PMBOK in context of project domains. The courses’ aim to close the gap between graduate competencies and the real world skills that various industries require in a working project manager.
