This paper conceptualizes a pedagogy of lifelong-learning community. It locates adult educational practice as a cultural practice that incorporates notions of culture as community and culture as knowledge. It examines the pedagogical role of academic adult educators who educate frontline educators to assist displaced citizen workers.
