The term 'information literacy' has connotations of an intrinsic competency with information technology and a degree of bibliographic awareness. This paper outlines the work conducted at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) regarding a differentiation of the many aspects of information literacy with an intention of embedding information literacy skills into specific Faculty of Education courses in order to address graduate attributes.
