Analysis of hierarchial control for the inverted pendulum

conference contribution
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by J Zajaczkowski, Russel Stonier
In this paper we will examine different topologies associated with hierarchical fuzzy control of the inverted pendulum (with nonlinear dynamics) to gain insight into the decomposition problem of hierarchical fuzzy systems. The fuzzy controls are learnt by evolutionary algorithms. We compare the results obtained to examine the efficiencies in learning by the evolutionary algorithms and fuzzy control of the pendulum.
