A group decision making method for high-technology projects selection under hesitant fuzzy environment

This paper formulates the selection of high-technology project alternatives as a multicriteria group decision making problem, and presents a group decision making method for effectively solving the high-technology project selection problem under hesitant fuzzy environment. Hesitant fuzzy set is used to deal with the conditions where the decision makers hesitate among several values in evaluating the alternatives. An effective algorithm is developed for generating a preference value for every high-technology project alternative across all selection criteria. An example is presented for demonstrating the applicability of the proposed group decision making method for effectively dealing with the high-technology project selection problem.
