This chapter focuses on the Learning Manager in the primary school. The chapter briefly describes the context of the primary school in Australia and examines the concept of who a Learning Manager is and how they go about their job through the identification of key capabilities, knowledges and attributes that characterise a learning manager. A scenario which outlines each attribute will be presented in order to inform the reader of how a learning manager approaches the complex task of teaching in a primary classroom. This chapter will also outline the connection between the attributes of a learning manager and learning design within primary contexts.
