On the role of nonlocal correlations in optimization

chapter
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by Victor Korotkikh, Galina Korotkikh
Recent developments in quantum information processing provide new insights that fundamental problems of complex systems and optimization may be related. In this context we consider the nonlocal correlations between the parts of a complex system as a main factor of the system to perform optimization. To realize this idea a general optimality condition within a theory based on irreducible notions is proposed.
