Locating the theory and practice of learning management
Previous texts on Learning Management provided insights into the rationale and premise for a change to how teachers are prepared and ultimately a change in the process of teaching and learning. Learning Management articulates the scope of such changes and is informed by a series of capabilities and associated constructs. The focus of this chapter is to locate the theory and practice of learning management in the scheme of ‘teaching and learning’ and thus introduce subsequent chapters.
