Chapter 6 focuses on the acquisition and development of skills in Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE). This chapter introduces the reader to teaching and learning in the key learning area of SOSE. The chapter discusses serveral modes of learning design and demonstrates how inquiry can be used to teach skills in SOSE.
