In this concluding chapter we aim to draw together several themes of the book. We offer a brief summary of the earlier material on social justice, including some discussion of issues concerning the implementation of social justice principles. We also remind the readers of the dimensions of culture, class, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and geographical location that feature so centrally in Understanding teaching, emphasising once more their complex intersections and interactions.
