chapter
posted on 2025-06-03, 01:58 authored by Stephen Mullins, Barbara Webster, Betty Cosgrove
This project applied historical methodology to investigate the relationships between local communities and their coastal and estuarine environments. Focussing on the Fitzroy River and the Capricorn Coast it fostered awareness of the past states of local ecosystems, helping to develop a better understanding of intergenerational attitudes to environmental change, and consequently encourages an appreciation that environmental management is an intergenerational concern.
