Food is a prominent subject in fiction and a popular focus of non-fiction writing. Its wide range of applications and focus means that food writing exercises can be useful in a variety of writing courses. This article discusses a creative writing exercise that aims to improve food writing by focusing on using the five senses and personal memories.
