chapter
posted on 2024-08-13, 04:06 authored by Madeline SprajcerMadeline Sprajcer, Drew DawsonDrew Dawson
The term ‘fatigue’ is typically used to describe three inter-related concepts: fatigue related to physical exertion, fatigue related to time on task, and fatigue in relation to a lack of sleep or circadian factors. Each of these ‘types’ of fatigue must be managed within the workplace context. However, many workplaces will address them using separate policies and/ or procedures.
