Facilitating positive social interaction for children with learning disabilities

Overview: An analysis of social competence, teacher-student relationships, and student-student relationships indicates the importance of fostering the acceptance of all children within the regular classroom. This paper reviews and analyses relevant literature then summarizes a program designed to facilitate the social interaction of children with learning disabilities in inclusive classroom settings.
