Disruptive innovations, workforce capability and partnerships : a regional directors' perspective

"This chapter serves as an introduction to the story of the Bachelor of Learning Management (BLM) as a 'disruptive innovation'. The chapter details the perspective of two regional executive directors from Education Queensland, the major stakeolder and industry partner in the training of future teachers in Queensland, Australia. These two regional executive directors played pivotal roles in the development and implementation of the first generation BLM program. In this chapter the development and implementaion of the BLM is explored together with the desire for increased workforce capability."
