chapter
posted on 2017-12-06, 00:00 authored by Cecily Knight
This chapter explores important knowledge for Learning Managers: the construct of resilience. A Learing Management approach provides the opportunity to create both a new mindset and new strategies for Learning Managers as they respond to what we know about resilence in practive and practical ways. Learning managers require skills that will enhance their own resilience as well as prepare them to enhance the resilience of the young people they work with. This chapter explores the concept of resilience, the socio-political impacts on education and proposes a three dimensional framework in promoting resilience.
