"This is the second Congress/Campout to be held in Rockhampton and at Byfield. The first was very successful and was held 76 years ago in mid-October, 1924. Delegates travelled from as far away as Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney and from Brisbane they travelled as guests of the Queensland Government with first class sleepers and all other comforts."--p. 4.
