A short glossary of film terms

<p dir="ltr">This short glossary of film terms is certainly not intended to be definitive. Indeed, some of the terms in more common use in both film and television production have been omitted in the interests of conciseness.<br>The glossary has been compiled, specifically, to meet the needs of undergraduate students of film production.</p><p dir="ltr"><br>It is hoped that the glossary will serve such students as a useful guide to the revision of film production theory: and give them an understanding of some of the professional terminology with which they might come into contact as their careers develop.</p>
